Smile Solutions, "Melbourne's Home of Dentistry", is located in the magnificent Manchester Unity Building in the heart of Melbourne's CBD.
We occupy four entire levels, plus the tower, all of which are of great significance within the art deco movement and Australia's national architectural heritage.
We are a multidisciplinary practice, home to over 60 practitioners, 20 of which are board registered specialists in the fields of oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics and prosthodontics.
Core Dental is part of our Smile Solutions Group and encompasses seven bespoke practices across the suburbs of Melbourne.
Now with over 40 dental suites equipped with the latest technology, Core Dental offers boutique dentistry of the highest quality.
Our clinicians are encouraged to perform the full scope of dentistry, including substantial Invisalign and CEREC treatments, and are comprehensively supported through internal CPD education.
The Opportunity: As the group Paediatric Manager, your role has a focus on both the strong clinical management of staff in the paediatric department and upholding high standards of patient care.
This position will complete all front desk/reception duties for the paediatric department as a first priority and be responsible for the tasks listed below.
In addition to your strong dental knowledge, the ideal candidate has a passion for people and ensuring there is a seamless stream of communication between patients, teams, anaesthetists and hospitals.
You will enjoy working within a collaborative team and problem solving as you contribute to the overall success of the business.
This position is based at our stunning head office located in the heart of Melbourne CBD but will also be required to follow our specialists and travel on a weekly basis to work as part of our Core Dental Teams at their locations in suburban Melbourne.
The Role Paediatrics:
Oversee all General Anaesthetic lists for all Paediatric dentists with assistance from Personal Assistants.Liaising with Senior Management on all paediatric matters and manage tasks related to the program as directed.Oversee all clinical tasks for the Paediatric department (i.e., organising equipment).Collaborate with management team to implement new policies and procedures for the paediatric department.Ensure effective and efficient communication between patients, teams, anaesthetists and hospitals.Oversee the training and development of reception and nurses as the paediatric department grows.Oversee the Paediatric clinicians' books.Oversee the induction and offboarding process for Paediatric clinicians.Work with the management team to resolve any escalations.Other patient related tasks as directed by senior management.The upside of working at Smile Solutions: 60% discount on dental treatments for staff and their children.20% discount on dental treatments for partners, spouses, family, and friends.Conveniently located in the heart of Melbourne CBD, 5 minute walk from Flinders Street StationQuarterly staff events and social activities.Seasonal AFL ticket offers at both the MCG and Marvel.A beautiful environment that's nurturing and supportive.Skills & Qualifications 3+ years dental experience is essential.Experience in working with Paediatric Dentists is desirable.Knowledge of D4w preferred but not essential.Highly motivated and an ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative.Highly developed communication skills.A drive to learn and flourish.We are seeking someone with a warm and friendly nature who will bring their knowledge and experience to the team.
