The OpportunityAs the Test Analysis and Automation Chapter Lead, you will drive the maturation of our testing practice and the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge test automation solutions, ensuring the reliability and performance of UTS's IT systems.
Leading a team of testing professionals, you'll foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
This role will allow you to shape best practices in software quality assurance, integrate automated testing into the IT framework, and mentor your team to success.
With a focus on optimising testing procedures, you'll contribute directly to UTS's agile transformation and technological advancement.
A Day in the Life of a Test Analysis and Automation Chapter Lead at UTS Lead the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks to improve system performance and reliability.Mentor and manage a team chapter of embedded testing professionals, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and fostering skill development.Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to define their testing requirements, ensuring smooth integration into the development cycle.Implement continuous improvement initiatives within testing processes, driving automation and innovation in testing methodologies.Manage the test and automation budget, optimising resource allocation to ensure cost-effective solutions.Conduct test analysis and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement, enhancing the efficiency of testing operations.Engage with external vendors and technology partners to stay updated on advancements and industry best practices.Ensure the chapter maintains up-to-date documentation and cybersecurity measures, addressing emerging risks.What You'll Need to Succeed Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of testing professionals, with a focus on fostering a high-performing and motivated team.Extensive experience in developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks and tools, with a strong understanding of best practices in software quality assurance.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, IT stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless integration of testing solutions.Strong analytical skills to conduct test analysis and root cause analysis, providing practical and innovative solutions to improve system performance.Proficiency in agile methodologies, integrating testing processes smoothly within iterative development cycles.Commitment to driving process improvements and staying informed on emerging trends in test automation and quality assurance.Remuneration & BenefitsA competitive and comprehensive remuneration package will be offered.
This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.
