Senior Test Analyst | Hybrid (Manual / Automation) Testing Role Based in Brisbane CBD | Some WFH - No Remote | Large Agile Program Up to $910/day inc super | 6-month contract + extensions | Start mid-November As the Senior Test Analyst, you will be working closely with the operational subject matters experts and business analysts to determine functional and non-functional requirements that will enhance new and existing hardware and software solutions for the organisation.
Key Responsibilities... Work across teams to establish a rigorous testing strategy for applications and systems, including hardware components and specialist devices.
Translate and interpret system requirements in the form of functional specifications and User Stories into test cases; including automated test scripts.
Execute and coordinate Systems Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and Production Verification Testing.
Ensure the appropriate standards of development quality are maintained, through appropriately documented test scripts, issue investigation and resolution plans for defect management.
Assist with the coordination of testing by business users undertaking acceptance testing Mentor other team members in functional, exploratory and automated testing practices Identifying areas of opportunity to reduce technical debt and support the improvement of new and existing applications and solutions.
Provide technical leadership, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement Participate in continuous improvement of activities and processes and contribute to the delivery of the work program as required.
Key Skills and Experience...
Experience in manual and automated testing using Agile delivery and DevOps principles, ideally using Azure DevOps Experience with test automation frameworks Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and with limited supervision Experience with testing integration of complex systems, including systems containing software and hardware components.
For example, audio-visual systems and IoT platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues across both software applications and cloud infrastructure.
Proficient in technical documentation, ensuring testing artefacts are well-documented and easily understood for future development and maintenance.
Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including proficiency in development languages and tools such as Dynamics 365, Power Platform, .NET Core, Web API, C#, Visual Studio Azure, and SQL Server.
