About the Role:The role will report to the Corporate Manager for banking and be a member of the Corporate Banking team.
This position will be responsible for managing the day to day reconciliation and processing of accounting entries for bank accounts spanning across Woodside's international footprint.
This role works in conjunction with other finance teams and the business.
The Banking Analyst will be located in Perth, Australia.
This is a fixed term opportunity for one year with the possibility of extension.
Duties & Responsibilities:Provide support to the Banking team, in delivery of the following key processes, on an as required basis:
Reconciliation of bank accounts on a daily basisProcessing of bank transactionsPreparation of general journals and period-close activitiesSOX control compliance and testingReview and manage bank refunds and returnsAssist the Business, Payroll, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams with payment queriesInvestigate transactions and liaise with the banksComplete monthly balance sheet reconciliations including preparing balance sheet commentaryOther ad-hoc tasks as requiredSkills & Experience:What we expect from you:
2 to 3 years experience in a similar roleBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related fieldWorking towards CA / CPA qualification (desired)Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and BlackLine (desired)Excellent attention to detail and analytical skillsEffective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments and with various stakeholdersProblem solving and improvement mindset, able to investigate issues and find effective solutionsRecognition & Reward:What you can expect from us:
