The award winning Avenue Hotel Canberra is recruiting a Night Auditor / Night Porter to join our team.
The Avenue Hotel Canberra is located in the heart of Braddon offering 213 accommodation rooms and home to the award winning Marble and Grain Steakhouse.
Avenue Hotel is part of The Capital Hotel Group which comprises of Pavilion on Northbourne and Deco Hotel Canberra.

In this role as Night Auditor and Porter you will be required to complete the night audit process and coordinate the security of the hotel as well as checking guests in and out of the hotel, answering phone calls, and taking reservations.
Key Duties:
Greet guests upon arrival, check them in and provide them with any information they need to enjoy their stay Audit and balance reports from the day shifts Schedule guest wake-up calls and reservations for the following day Verify that all EOD work has been performed by other departments Respond to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints as needed Answer phones and place reservations Run EOD computer functions so they are complete by the end of the shift Prepare guest bills for next-day checkouts and process reservation cards Balance cash drawers and record receipts Key Requirements:
Previous security and reception work an advantage Excellent communication and guest relations skills Training in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) an advantage Fantastic attention to detail Passion for hospitality and customer service High presentation standards Good time management Reliable and honest Self motivated What are you waiting for?
