About the Role We're on the hunt for an enthusiastic Junior Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity for a developing Junior Accountant to support the Chief Financial Officer with the smooth running of our internal finance function.

Recording and classifying financial transactionsBank reconciliationsCredit card reconciliations and ensuring all transactions have supportMaintaining and organising financial records and documents for all transactionsMaintenance of Accounts Email inbox; responding to financial inquiries from clients, vendors and team membersAccounts Payable, including preparation of ABA files for paymentsAccounts Receivable including reconciliation of client sales summaryMonitoring cash flow and cash flow projectionsPayroll - including preparation of ABA files for paymentsMaintaining and reconciling Bunjie team member leave calendarEnd of Month payroll summaryPayroll tax filings for relevant statesSuperannuation reconciliation and paymentReview and process expense reimbursementsWorkcover filing and reconciliationActual to budget reportingMaintaining / reviewing General Ledger accountManage Fixed Assets records and depreciation schedulesBAS / IAS reconciliationsPartnering with our external accountants, you'll also work on:
Tax compliance including IAS, BAS, payroll tax, FBT and assisting our external accountant with End of Year financials and income tax returnIt's anticipated this role will grow and evolve over time to complement the growing experience of the team member.
About You You'll be a self-starter with at least two years' experience in a similar role – ideally within a consumer business.
A multi-tasker with a can-do mindset to handle the day to day and navigate the unexpected.
You'll also have:
Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance, and preferably CPA / CA qualified (or working towards)High attention to detail and impressive communication skillsAbility to manage and meet deadlinesXeroBeneficial Experience DextWe'd love to hear from you if you think you'll be a good fit
