Job DescriptionSpread Joy, by joining our Volunteer Team We are seeking a friendly volunteer to spend time with an elderly woman living at home in Meadowbank.
She would enjoy meeting someone who speaks Mandarin to visit her at home for a cuppa and a chat.

Regular visits from volunteers can help improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity that is passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need.
We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
Requirements18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare.
We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a 30-minute to one-hour visit between 9 am and 4 pm, Monday to Sunday.
Visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
