Production Plant Operator

Our Client is a leading manufacturer of cement-based products, including engineering and construction grouts, known for our strong R&D focus and innovative products and technology.
Due to company's growth, they have a fantastic opportunity for a Production Plant Operator to join their team.
Key Responsibilities: Comply with all safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
Operate a fully automated blending plant and packaging line.
Set up machinery, optimize outputs, and oversee critical control points.
Address breakdowns promptly to maximize equipment availability.
Perform preventative maintenance, including minor repairs and adjustments on the batching and packaging line.
Maintain and enhance a clean work environment.
Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to prepare raw materials for production and unload palletized finished goods.
Rotate and relieve in all areas of production and warehousing as required.
Candidate Profile: Working in a friendly and supportive environment, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate the following skills and capabilities: Experience working in a production environment.
Commitment to safety and contributing positively to WHS culture.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Possess a great attitude with self-drive, strong attendance, and a hard work ethic.
Team player who can also work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Ability to problem-solve using logic and reasoning to identify solutions.
Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Willingness to participate in continuous improvement activities.
Proficient understanding of computer systems for operating and monitoring the manufacturing process.
Physically fit and hands-on.
Current forklift LF license or willingness to obtain one.
