Responsibility for the effective resourcing and management of the Northern Region Branch on a daily basis. Ensuring that all sales performance targets are achieved in a safe work environment and that all Terex Jaques strategic and operational guidelines are followed.Skills and QualificationsTertiary qualifications in Engineering or Business Management/Commerce preferred but not essential.Background in management, 5+ years, preference in crushing/heavy industry.Experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment.Strong mechanical aptitude.High degree of professionalism and ability to lead by business objectives.Strong leadership and team building skills.Demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships with customers.Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.Technical knowledge to understand and communicate equipment details.Flexibility to be able to travel to regionally, interstate and overseas occasionally.ResponsibilitiesManage all requirements of Terex regional facility, equipment, team and branch HSE requirements.Responsibility for the management of the P&L and Sales Forecasting for the Branch.Compile annual operational budget in conjunction with Finance Manager and Business Manager.Manage branch work in progress (WIP) and warranty requirements.Maintain appropriate working relationships with customers and major suppliers.Employee training and performance management.Collaborate with interstate branches to ensure effective development of the Terex Jaques business.Market parts and service capability to existing and new customers, manage and optimize the parts inventory holdings.Participate in the preparation of equipment sales tenders.Promote Terex Jaques products and support capabilities to customer base.Maintain appropriate levels of customer coverage, ensuring that details of customer visits are recorded in CRM.Ensure customers have access to parts personnel, field service and other team members as necessary.About Us:Terex Corporation is a global industrial equipment manufacturer of materials processing machinery, waste and recycling solutions, mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), and equipment for the electric utility industry.
