The CSA Mine is located in Cobar NSW and is Australia's highest-grade copper mine.We are located 11 kilometres north-west of Cobar, central western New South Wales.
At 1.9 kilometres deep, it is one of Australia's deepest underground mines.Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, CSA Mine directly employs over 500 people including contractors.About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Maintenance Supervisor to lead a dedicated team of heavy diesel mechanics, light vehicle mechanics, and automotive electricians.
This pivotal role ensures the safe, efficient, and reliable maintenance of our underground mobile fleet, contributing to the smooth operation of our world-class copper mining operation.Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead a multidisciplinary maintenance team.Oversee maintenance and repair activities on heavy and light mobile equipment.Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures.Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize equipment availability.Coordinate training and development for the maintenance team.Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high performance and safety standards.Liaise with operations and other departments to minimize equipment downtime.Qualifications & Experience: Trade qualification in heavy diesel mechanics, automotive electrical, or a related field.Proven supervisory experience in a mining or heavy industrial environment.Strong understanding of underground mining mobile equipment maintenance.Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Knowledge of Australian mining regulations and safety standards.Conditions:This position will be offered on a 7/7 roster, and commute options include residential or DIDO.Relocation costs and subsidised housing will be provided to the successful candidate to assist in relocating to Cobar.
