Enjoy work-life balance on a 2:1 Fly-In-Fly-Out roster.Who are we looking for?An innovative and motivated Head Chef with a focus on food safety and excellent customer service. To be successful, you'll need:Certificate III or IV Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)Food Safety Supervisor Certificate within 5yrs of validityFirst Aid and CPR CertificatePrevious experience in mass-catering environments is essential (volume cooking)Previous FIFO Sous Chef or Head Chef experience is highly desired but not essentialExcellent knowledge of HACCPPrior Sous or Head Chef experience is essentialAustralian Citizenship or full working rights in AustraliaYou will be required to obtain a National Police Check, should you not have one dated within the last 6 monthsAbout the role;The successful candidate will be expected to:Provide leadership, coordinate, and support staff in maintaining a high-quality catering service for our FIFO client sitesAchieve success by consulting with stakeholders on a regular basis while driving a high level of performance within your TeamLead the catering function with safety at the forefront by adhering to HACCP and operational safety procedures, creating a strong safety culture within your team is fundamental to your successWhy choose Sodexo?Sodexo is the world's leading provider of food services.
