About the role Leadership: The Practice Lead for this role is Toli Papageorgiou, based in Melbourne.
Toli is a dynamic leader, manager, technologist, and consultant with a strong passion for understanding client business needs and delivering outcomes that positively impact their customers.
He is dedicated to ensuring a growing and profitable practice with a focus on developing the talent within the practice and working closely with our PMO to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations.
Toli is looking to grow the team with fresh talent as part of Insight, especially as we bring Modern work and Security to the forefront in 2025.
As a Technical Specialist, you are a customer-focused specialist in the Modern Work and Security domain and viewed as a trusted set of hands by clients.
You will act as the lead for technical streams within projects and oversee a number of technical streams on larger engagements.
Our Technical Specialists are also responsible for contributing to the development of Intellectual Property (IP) in their domains of expertise.

We are looking for a Technical Specialist with the following capabilities: Experienced with Identity and Access Management in Entra, Entra Domain Services, Entra Connect, SAML, OpenID Connect/OAuth, Azure AD App Proxy, SCIMExperienced with Microsoft traditional technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and PKIExperienced with Purview: Azure Information Protection, Office 365 and Endpoint Data Loss Prevention, Cloud App SecurityExperienced with M365 migration and consolidation projects; EOL, SPO, OneDrive, Teams, Teams chats; experience with Power BI and Power App migrations will be highly regardedExperienced with migration toolsets from vendors such as AvePoint, Quest, and BitTitanExperienced with Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security for Microsoft Windows; Intune, Configuration Manager, Co-Management, Hybrid-join, Autopilot, Conditional Access baseline security policiesExperienced with query and scripting such as PowerShell and KustoExperienced in Security: Microsoft Defender AV, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Identity, Microsoft Defender for O365 highly regarded.Relevant Associate MS Certifications in M365, Identity & Security, Azure; Expert Level will be highly regardedSubstantial experience in technical roles within a Services environmentKnowledge and understanding of foundational security and networking principlesDemonstrated project delivery, autonomy and time management skillsComfortable with presenting and communicating technical solutionsInterpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong client relationshipsExcellent written (documentation) and verbal communication skillsWhat you can expect: We're legendary for taking care of you, your family and for helping you engage with your local community.
