Our Position To support our ongoing growth, PROK are currently seeking a HSE Coordinator to join our team.
This position is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Bayswater, WA.
The HSE Coordinator will lead the Safety and Environment assurance function for the site in conjunction with line management.
Key responsibilities include:
Execution: Be responsible for ensuring Safety Systems and legislative compliance is implemented, maintained, continuously improved and promoted within the siteSafety: Investigate any arising accidents, incidents, near misses to discover causes and recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measuresReporting: Collate and report EHS reports, Training Competency records and data.
Along with maintaining the sites internal audit safety schedule.Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant state and national legislation that impacts our operations.Innovation: Implementation and effective deployment of Codes of Practice, Safe Work Method Statements and JSA's / Take -5's across, Safety and Environment, in line with company policies.Leadership: Lead, conduct, complete and review risk assessments for production activities on site as well as managing the site risk register and manage risks with Hierarchy of Controls approach.Training: Conduct training and presentations regarding health and safety matters and to communicate effectively lessons or improvements.About You: You will be a:
