They partner with some of the food service industry's most recognised and acclaimed brands from around the world.They are innovative in their approach, seeking out brands that will suit the diverse and evolving needs of Australian kitchens. They only partner with brands of the highest quality, with careful consideration placed on the brand's performance, research, efficiency, technology, and sustainability. They have offices, including state-of-the-art demonstration kitchens, in Victoria, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, and Perth.They are now looking for an experienced BDM – Hospitality to grow, develop and seek out new business opportunities (new but also from within existing groups) to increase their presence and market share. You will be talking at all levels to café owners all the way through to F&B Directors, and relationship building is an important aspect of the role.Based in Brisbane, and reporting to the Regional Sales Manager – Northern, you will take on the day-to-day management of customers located across all their locations between Port Macquarie and Cairns and be accountable for exponentially growing their presence and market share. It is a mix of pure BD as well as growing the revenue in some existing key accounts. Overnight travel is very minimal (1-2 overnights per quarter) as most of the business is in SE QLD and other areas are also covered by supporting ASM's.Key Objectives – The roleDevelopment and execution of the sales and new business strategy in order to achieve sales budgetsManage BD activities and sales opportunities of (Key) Accounts and develop plans and objectivesIdentify, establish, manage and maintain customer relationships and business opportunities with new and existing Key AccountsAssist in creating and managing the supply channel for strategic customer accountsProspecting using networking, research and relationship skillsPreferred Partner AgreementsQuotationsLead generation activities to achieve customer conversionsWork with the regional sales team and dealer/wholesale distributors ASM'sManagement of customer forecasts to ensure high customer satisfactionParticipate in regional planning for the Key AccountsImplementation of the regional business development planAssist in the establishment of the annual sales and gross profit budgetsNew product development management and launches for key customer projectsActive participation in trade shows and marketing activities as they are scheduledYou will have a demonstrated knowledge and experience of:3-5 years of experience in a similar role or industry relevant experienceExperience in the food manufacturing / B2B sales would be strong advantageFMCG, QSR, Hospitality, HoReCa, foodserviceUnderstanding of the B2B sales processes (can be long) with large companiesProject management skills and/or qualificationsExtensive knowledge of the foodservice industryProven experience in delivering client-focused solutions and business growthStrong commercial experience and analytical skillsEffective communicator at all levels in the organisation, including executivesTeam player - you love working collaboratively and cross-functionallyFamiliarity with CRM tools (eg. Salesforce) would be a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, TeamsThis is a great opportunity to join this premium company.
