Requirements The Purpose: We're adding a Senior Quality Engineer to our already thriving team. As a Senior Quality Engineer at AP+, you'll play a key role in the continual advancement of our mastery and practices and remain highly aware of industry trends. You'll contribute to a team and be 'on-tools' to take responsibility for ensuring our delivery process runs smoothly across AP+, focusing on continuous improvement of our quality engineering practices to ensure quality in all our applications.
Primary Accountabilities, Duties and Responsibilities: Testing execution: Identify testable events and develop the test cases/test scripts for test case management. Perform manual test execution with a focus on automation as early as possible. Manage test environments, monitor test results, provide test reporting, and streamline release management.Testing types and levels: Perform the design, development, execution, and analysis of testing types across testing levels to ensure quality, speed, and accuracy over our applications. Provide input and review of business requirements and functional specifications to assist with test case design and preparation.Perform test automation: Develop test automation scripts for CI/CD pipelines to run for your squad/business unit to drive efficiency, improve processes, save time and resources, and provide quality assurance in our products.Continuous delivery: Work with engineering teams to integrate functional and non-functional testing into continuous delivery practices.Continuous improvement: Facilitate retrospectives and quality reviews to identify areas for process improvement, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence. Help improve ways of working within your squad, being the "Quality Voice."Cross-Functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with development, product management, and operations teams to integrate functional and non-functional quality assurance practices into the development lifecycle.Tool management: Help evaluate, select, and implement testing tools and frameworks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of functional and non-functional testing processes.Team leadership: Provide quality leadership through mentoring quality engineers and peers, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.We'd love to hear from you if you have: Experience in payments/financial technology is a plus but not a requirement.You are a great communicator. You'll need to represent Quality Engineering to the rest of AP+ and to external customers and vendors.Prior experience as a Quality Engineer (or equivalent) (approx. 5+ years).At least 3+ years hands-on experience in Web, Mobile, and API testing.At least 3+ years' experience or exposure to non-functional testing.Working knowledge of different testing frameworks and automation scripts (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Jest, Appium, Selenium).Must have strong testing experience in data migration programs and be well-versed in ETL & SQL.Experienced in data analysis, data quality, and data manipulation.Experienced in Snowflake, AWS.What's Next:
