About the role We are seeking an Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Assistant to join our growing Finance team
This role is a casual full time, 3 month contract role based at our Support Office on St Kilda Road, Melbourne.
Supporting the Accounts Receivable/Payable Team, this role will assist with the accurate and efficient processing of store banking, internet and all third-party processes.
Responsibilities will include Review of daily banking variances report & prioritizing of variances Follow up stores with discrepancies via phone or email Ensure the significant variances identified on a daily basis are followed through and resolved Ensure all month end tasks are completed accurately as per the timetable Assist with weekly activity reporting for LP Team Monthly review of any outstanding EFT deposits & sundry deposits Ensuring correct register information About you The ability to manage high volume data processing Relevant qualifications in Finance and Accounting are advantageous Experience working in a retail environment is highly advantageous Developed Microsoft Excel and Word skills Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Be self-directed with the ability to work autonomously in a team environment What we can offer you Generous employee discount of 50% off to use across all of our 7 brands Access to our Just Benefits program which entitles you to exclusive discounts and benefits in the areas of entertainment, travel, lifestyle, and health Exclusive access to frequent sample sales across all brands Thrive in a central office location based on St Kilda Road, with direct access to Fawkner Park Engage in continuous learning and development programs to enhance your skills and foster personal and professional growth Coffee lover?
