Our store network spans across six markets (Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland) and is supported by local and centralised teams with our Support Office and our national Distribution Centre (DC) based in Melbourne.About the roleWe are seeking an Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Assistant to join our growing Finance team This role is a casual full time, 3 month contract role based at our Support Office on St Kilda Road, Melbourne. Supporting the Accounts Receivable/Payable Team, this role will assist with the accurate and efficient processing of store banking, internet and all third-party processes.Responsibilities will includeReview of daily banking variances report & prioritizing of variancesFollow up stores with discrepancies via phone or emailEnsure the significant variances identified on a daily basis are followed through and resolvedEnsure all month end tasks are completed accurately as per the timetableAssist with weekly activity reporting for LP TeamMonthly review of any outstanding EFT deposits & sundry depositsEnsuring correct register informationAbout youThe ability to manage high volume data processingRelevant qualifications in Finance and Accounting are advantageousExperience working in a retail environment is highly advantageousDeveloped Microsoft Excel and Word skillsExcellent communication skills both written and verbalBe self-directed with the ability to work autonomously in a team environmentWhat we can offer youGenerous employee discount of 50% off to use across all of our 7 brandsAccess to our Just Benefits program which entitles you to exclusive discounts and benefits in the areas of entertainment, travel, lifestyle, and healthExclusive access to frequent sample sales across all brandsThrive in a central office location based on St Kilda Road, with direct access to Fawkner ParkEngage in continuous learning and development programs to enhance your skills and foster personal and professional growthCoffee lover?
