We are part of Sonepar, a family owned business and the global leaders in electrical wholesaling.About the roleReporting to the Executive General Manager (Eastern Region) you'll join our business in a key leadership role responsible for a network of branches within greater Brisbane and Regional Qld.Develop and implement business strategies to drive EBIT through sales, margin, cost control and profit growthLead your Branch network to develop a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring and training the team with a focus on our customer service standardsCreate, present and roll out your Business Plan with a focus on bringing the team on the journeyEnsure accountability and results across all aspects of branch operations including, Health and Safety, Financial Management – forecasts, budgets, P&L and Inventory ControlEnsuring accountability and lead the development of sustainable and strategic working relationships with key customers and suppliersWork collaboratively with your Regional Manager and Support Office peers across the country to achieve the company goalsAbout youA true leader with a strong customer focus, ideally with experience in trade-based multi-site organisationsExceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)Proven relationship development skills (internally and externally)A dynamic leader with experience managing organisational change at all levels of the businessSuperior analytical skills, with the ability to form fact-based decisions & recommendationsYou are hands on, enjoy coaching and developing your teams, you are key to creating succession plans and assisting in goal setting within performance appraisalsWhat we offerOngoing Learning & Development to fast track your career – Beyond a comprehensive onboarding program, you'll have access to LinkedIn Learning, Accredited Training Qualifications & Professional Development SupportDiversity & Inclusion – We embrace diversity and encourage everyone to bring their authentic selves to workTake paid leave to volunteer in your Community – Give back to your community, with one paid day per year to volunteer with a registered charity organisation of your choiceYour Values, Our Heritage - we opened our doors in 1886 but we have moved at the speed of light to keep up with the changing needs of our Customers and EmployeesSustainability for future generations - We're committed to making a positive impact on the planet.
