Customer Service Officer – Water Category | Narromine Nsw

About the Role Play a pivotal role in providing exceptional retail service to our customers.
Bring your experience and enthusiasm for customer service and gain further skills within retail and irrigation.
Your main responsibilities will include: Building excellent customer relationshipsGeneral duties supporting the branch in the day-to-day operations, such as:In-store first point of contact for retail sales and enquiriesReceiving and storing of incoming goodsOrder processing including point of sale and invoicingPicking and packing of outgoing goods to customers and store transfersAssisting with stock control including inventory monitoring and stocktakesBuilding technical knowledge specifically in the area of water-related productsChampioning safety and compliance requirementsWorking as part of a team to achieve results as directed.About You You will have experience working in a trade such as plumbing or mechanics, and/or a Forklift license (or willingness and ability to obtain).
Ideally, you will have some retail experience and/or have worked in a warehouse environment.
It would be advantageous to have irrigation experience with a good knowledge of pipe types/sizes, applications, and fittings.
Experience in or ability to learn how to make recommendations for irrigation parts and pumps for various uses such as household, dams, water transfer/bores, and rivers, would also be advantageous.
Other skills and experiences will include Point of Sale transactions, written and verbal communication skills, inventory/stock control, use of forklift, time management, problem-solving skills, and effective interpersonal skills.
