FindStaff are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Business Consultant to join the AASN Team within AGA in Central Melbourne, Victoria.

As a Group Training Organisation (GTO) and Registered Training Organisation (RTO), AGA works across many industries and vocations as a specialist provider of apprenticeship and traineeship services.
AGA, proudly part of the IntoWork Group Australia, offers a complete apprenticeship service to both the apprentice or trainee and the employer, a service which allows the individual to realise their full potential and the employer to meet the dynamic and changing needs of industry.
About the Role Business Consultants play a very important role in the management of Australian apprenticeships/traineeships by promoting pathways to meet Australian workforce development needs.
Business Consultants also provide a high level of consistent customer service to our Apprentices/Trainees, employers and key stakeholders through provision of advice, training contract administration and monitoring.
Business Consultants are committed to the delivery of the account management process as well as displaying excellent communication and business development skills.
These autonomous positions are exceptionally rewarding and include a company maintained vehicle, phone and laptop.

This is a full time role, initially a fixed term contract to 30/06/2024 in line with the AASN contract, with potential for permanency.
Key Responsibilities: Identify employment opportunities leading to an apprenticeship/traineeship Actively engage out of trade apprentices in job search through our Talent Community, Apprenticeship Central and through reverse marketing to suitable employers including GTOs in our network and the general market Develop and maintain strong industry links and stakeholder engagement Attend career expos and provide access to advice and hands on use of the tools of trade Monitor active Apprentices and Trainees, supporting them through to a successful completion Work with Employment Services and Department of Employment, to assist with impartial advice about Vocational Education and Training and appropriate apprenticeship and traineeship pathways.
About You: To be successful in this role, you will need: An understanding of the Australian Apprenticeship system and VET sector (highly desirable) Proven experience in a Business Development related or similar role Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships Proven experience in providing high levels of customer service to clients Proven ability to meet and exceed set targets and KPIs Highly motivated and outcome focused Strong time management and organisational skills Certificate IV or higher in Business, Marketing or a related discipline is highly desirable Current and valid driver's license Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia.
Current Working with Children and National Police Checks are required and can be arranged for the suitable applicant.
