Your impact, with us As our highly valued Patient Services Officer, you'll use your skills and expertise to provide quality care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
Based in Warringal Private Hospital, you'll play a crucial role in delivering quality reception and administrative services that meet the highest professional and company standards.
Your dedication will ensure that our patients, referrers, and customers receive the professional, caring, and friendly service they deserve.
Some travel may be required between the Advara HeartCare sites and there may be a requirement to provide short-term administrative relief in other Practices from time to time when the situation arises, contributing to our commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.
You'll make a meaningful impact by:
Work efficiently in a fast-paced administrative role where patient care is our focusCheck patient GP referrals with Medicare, ensuring data accuracyTimely processing of correspondence to referrers and patientsRespond to incoming phone calls promptly and provide a professional service in line with expectationsWork with colleagues and other administrative staff to achieve efficient and effective management of medical appointments and other related clinical information via the Health Track systemBooking and confirming patients for tests and consultations.What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service, ideally in a medical/healthcare environmentStrong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to efficiently work as a proactive member of a multi-disciplinary team and the ability to nurture positive connections with patients.Experience in billing/receipting medical accounts, Medicare and DVA billingExceptional phone manner and ability to handle a high volume of patient enquiriesHigh attention to detail and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environmentWe would also love you to have:
