Clinical Nurse (Child Health or School Based Youth Health)Join our team in the role of Clinical Nurse (Child Health or School Based Youth Health) at Central West HealthWe have a permanent and temporary opportunity for suitable skilled, qualified and motivated nurses to contribute to this important portfolio of services for the children and youth of our region.Work collaboratively with this agile and responsive team to provide multidisciplinary care services and build meaningful networks with families, children, parents and caregivers.Please indicate your preference for Child Health or School Based Youth Health speciality in your application and APPLY TODAYPatient Centred Care for our Central West communitiesPeople-centred care | Quality and safety | Integrity and accountability | Empowered workforce | Continuous improvementWhat's involved – The Clinical Nurse – Child Health and/or School Based Youth Nurse is responsible for delivering quality nursing care at an advanced level in accordance with the principles of primary health and wellbeing in child, youth and family health.These roles are expected to deliver culturally appropriate best practice health care and improve health outcomes for clients referred to the Child and Family Health and School Based Youth Health Services.A clinical nurse is expected to work at an advanced level with minimal supervision.Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with other health professionals, government, non-government and community agencies to enhance continuity of care for children, young people and their parents/caregivers.The nature and size of the CWHHS requires the successful candidate to work within both portfolios with increased support provided if they do not hold post graduate qualifications in both portfolios.
