Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals, including General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and Aboriginal Health Worker Practitioners, work together to provide exceptional patient care.
About The Opportunity As the Broome Renal Health Centre Manager, you will oversee the strategic and operational management of the Broome Renal Health Centre.
This leadership role focuses on delivering high-quality renal services, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, and fostering a supportive and culturally sensitive workplace environment.
You will work closely with the Kimberley Renal Services Leadership Team to implement strategic directions, meet operational targets, and drive service excellence in chronic kidney disease (CKD) management and dialysis programs.
Key responsibilities include: Overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring quality care and effective management of resources.Providing leadership to a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and continuous professional developmentMonitoring performance, reporting outcomes, and ensuring adherence to budgets, governance frameworks, and targetsManaging recruitment, performance management, and staff mentoring to ensure a high-performing and engaged workforceCollaborating and liaising closely with the KRS Leadership Team to develop and implement strategic initiatives for renal health services in the regionEnsuring compliance with accreditation standards, clinical governance, and reporting requirementsSupporting prevention initiatives and chronic disease management in the communityPromoting a culturally safe environment for patients and staff, aligned with the principles of Aboriginal Health Care and Community ControlWho are we looking for? To qualify for this role you will have proven leadership and management experience, with a background in clinical experience including a minimum of 3 years managing teams in a health service environment
