Program Manager, Federal Health Care Consulting Prometheus Federal Services (PFS), a trusted partner to federal health and social services agencies, has an opening for Program Manager with Federal Health Care Consulting experience.
You will work closely with and support Federal health and social services agency clients in the planning and implementation of major strategic and organizational transformation initiatives.
You will collaborate with client leadership to set expectations for deliverables, shape work product development, and ensure quality delivery from our analyst staff in addition to supporting performance management and continuous process improvement for our clients.
The ideal candidates will have expertise and experience working with or for the VA and HHS as a contractor or employee to implement high visibility and/or enterprise-level projects, programs and initiatives.
Experience working as a trusted advisor and/or leading similar projects, programs and initiatives with other large health systems is also preferred.
The selected candidate must reside in the U.S.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Strategic leadership for programs valued at 5-20M, 50 or more teaming partners, and 50 or more staff within VHAMaintaining the Work Breakdown Structure and tracking progress to meet specific client requirementsMaintains and manages relationships with senior level management within the client organizationCoordinating with consultants and subcontractors providing supplemental supportDetermining the optimum mix of skills and modalities to meet client requirementsEstablishing project-specific templates and delivery standardsProviding quality assurance for work productsEffectively leading a project teamDeveloping client briefing documents, reports, and presentationsMinimum Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Health Systems Administration, or similar fieldMinimum of twenty (20) years of experience in management consultingMinimum of ten (10) years of experience in supporting Veterans Health Administration (VHA)Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationExperience managing programs valued at 5-20M, 50 or more teaming partners, and 50 or more staffExperience working across multiple dynamic organizations, driving all stakeholders toward a shared missionExperience organizing a diverse team of senior leaders and clients while flexibly adjusting to managing shifting demands and ambiguity, reprioritization of objectives, and mitigating rapid changeAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while interacting and managing a variety of stakeholders during critical programmatic periodsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and SharePointProven ability to identify and help resolve issues and risks and prevent escalation whenever possibleProven ability to drive a team of diverse stakeholders ensuring that all requirements are fulfilledAuthorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorshipAbility to obtain a public trustAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin.
