An opportunity exists for 2 x 0.5FTE Head of Department (Curriculum) positions at Kenmore State School for the 2025 school year.
The positions on offer are:
Position 1: P-2 (0.5) - opportunity to negotiate an additional 0.5 teaching load;Position 2: 3-6 (0.5) - opportunity to negotiate an additional 0.5 teaching load.The Head of Department (Curriculum) role will have a specific focus on implementing the Australian Curriculum with a focus on aligning curriculum, assessment and pedagogy to improve learning outcomes for all students.
About Kenmore State School Kenmore State School is an Independent Public School located in the heart of Kenmore.

Instructional leadership, strong understanding of the Model of Language-in-Use, curriculum expertise, and excellent organisational skills will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.Embed socially just practices in daily school life.Set high standards for student and staff performance.Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.
