Our motto is Education for Life.About the RoleAs the Head of Department - Student Services (Year 7), you will have the following accountabilities:Lead initiatives that enhance the Engagement, Belonging, Wellbeing and Behaviour Support of every student in your Year Level.Work with the Student Support Services Team to provide support and intervention with students who are experiencing significant barriers in accessing their learning through academic, behaviour and/or social emotional engagement concerns.Implement Year Level Events in partnership with the Shadow Heads of Year for whole cohort activities to develop a sense of year-level identity and belonging (e.g. Year level assemblies, meaning projects and celebrations).Promote positive education (PERMAH) to embed practices that support every student to flourish in their education at Kenmore SHS.Uphold the school values and expectations through your strong/excellent leadership skills.Liaise with parents, teachers and support staff of Year 7 students to provide support and guidance for students when needed.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.Interested?
