At the centre of the hotel's unique offering are artisanal culinary encounters at La Madonna Restaurant & Bar, showcasing modern Italian dining with sneaky French influences in a 'not quite fine dining' setting.
Your Role: As our new Demi Chef, you will: Lead and inspire the team during a bustling à la carte breakfast service starting at 5 AM. Assist with lunch service, showcasing your versatility and strong all-round culinary skills. Contribute to food preparation with a focus on minimizing waste and maintaining high standards. Bring fresh, creative ideas to the table, while keeping pace with our high-quality standards. Support senior chefs and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative kitchen environment. Uphold HACCP regulations and top-notch hygiene practices. Adapt to guest requests with flexibility and professionalism, ensuring their dining experience is exceptional. What We're Looking For: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar high-volume kitchen role. A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, memorable dishes. Excellent verbal communication skills and a keen eye for detail. Impeccable hygiene, grooming, and presentation standards. A strong work ethic with the flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
