About the opportunity Westgold are sourcing an experienced Geology Technician - Exploration on a permanent 8:6 roster FIFO.
Reporting to the Senior Exploration Geologist, the successful candidate will assist the team with the execution of approved exploration programs to discover new economically significant gold deposits in a safe, timely and financially and environmentally responsible manner.
The role includes Contribute to a proactive safety culture within the teamEnsure that all site preparation and rehabilitation activities consider environmental issues and that subsequent execution results in zero unplanned harmAssist with the supervision of heritage surveysEnsure accuracy of sample/drill collar locations through correct surveying protocolsEnsure timely and appropriate site preparation that meets environment and heritage requirementsEnsure all sampling data is accurately collected, collated and loaded into the database in a timely mannerAssist geologists with any requested tasksAccurately maintain database of outstanding program rehabilitation requirementsEnsure rehabilitation activities are kept within DMIRS time requirementsWhat do I need?
