The roles offer excellent EBA conditions with an emphasis on promoting a healthy work-life balance.
Working as part of the site Engineering team, the role is permanent full-time and offers a mix of responsibilities and exposure to a number of different PLC systems and technologies.
Job Summary The successful candidate will have a strong focus on safety, possess strong communication skills and be able to work independently performing a wide range of tasks including:
Providing shift breakdown support packing lines, mixing plants, Palletising, utilities, waste treatment plant.Understanding and conducting complex fault finding and repairs of electrical, electronic components including instruments.Participating in autonomous maintenance programs.Completing site-focused improvements and small projects across the site.Monitoring and evaluating the condition of all electrical, electronics and instrumentation.Working as a team player to maintain and improve plant efficiency.Analyzing data, solving complex electrical, instrumentation and automation problems.Training and coaching electrical apprentices.Earn a weekly salary of $2336.11.Does this sound like You? Essential to the role the candidate must possess the following qualifications & experience:
Australian Electrical Trade qualificationNSW Electrical LicenseExperience in a manufacturing FMCG environmentExcellent skills to troubleshoot machine issues using automation software like Rockwell and Siemens (including PCS7) in a timely mannerTraining skills to train operators, apprentices, fellow trades (share knowledge) after implementation of improvement projects or any major breakdown.Strong communication skills and can-do attitude.Understanding of OH&S requirements and safe work behaviourExcellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skillsDesirable: TAFE Accredited Hazardous area TrainingRobotic experience (ABB, Kawasaki)Safety PLC understandingSAP or CMMS experienceWhat awaits you at Unilever?
