About the RoleOur client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Asset and Facilities Manager to lead the strategic and operational delivery of Facilities and Infrastructure Asset Management with a team of 5 direct reports, across a large diverse portfolio of locations in Australia.
This role offers the chance to make a significant impact by driving operational excellence, improving performance, and delivering sustainable results.
Key Responsibilities Leadership and Strategy Provide strategic vision and operational direction for asset and facilities management services.Champion cultural and systemic improvements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Lead governance processes around capital investments and lifecycle planning.Financial and Operational Management Oversee budgets for repairs, maintenance, and capital allocation.Conduct performance audits and ensure regulatory compliance.Optimize service delivery in partnership with outsourced providers and internal teams.Innovation and Continuous Improvement Develop and implement best practices for operational efficiencies.Foster a high-performing team culture, emphasizing professional growth and accountability.Champion sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives.Stakeholder Engagement Build strong relationships with executives, finance, procurement, and operations teams.Act as a trusted advisor, influencing senior leadership on strategic decisions.Capabilities and Attributes Strong business and financial acumen with a proven ability to drive measurable results.Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Experience managing large-scale facilities and asset operations in a complex environment.Preferred Qualifications Minimum 7 years in Facilities and Asset Management.Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.Experience in health facility design and maintenance is highly desirable.Why Join Our Client?One of the leaders in the Healthcare sector, our client is dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
