About The Role: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Shutdown Superintendent to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of daily operations during a Shutdown.
The Shutdown Superintendent will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of all works during the shutdown.
In this role you will: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of shutdowns and projects.
Participate as a safety leader by promoting a safety culture, understand and drive adherence to all Safety Policies and Procedures.
Monitor progress and identify and mitigate potential risks to execution timelines.
Ensure adequate scoping, resourcing, and supervision of each allocated task, such that work is completed to the required quality and standard.
Strong people management skills, the ability to develop and mentor Supervision and execution teams.
Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for management review.
Build effective working relationships with clients that leads to future opportunities.
Drive continuous improvement efforts to maximise execution efficiency, safety, and plant reliability in a cost-effective manner.
Act as a Company representative for operational matters.
Knowledge of relevant mining related legislation (Schedule 26) About You Minimum of 5 years in a similar role working in the mining sector Strong communication skills, work ethic and a positive attitude Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues across all business units.
