Account Manager – Workers' Compensation Placement

DescriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced workers' compensation professional to join our Workplace Risk practice.
In this role, you will provide risk and state renewal services and advice to our clients, while also contributing to the implementation of our business development strategy.
Our Workplace Risk practice is a leading provider of strategic workplace risk services to some of Australia's Top 500 companies.
Reporting to the National Placement Manager - Workplace Risk, your primary focus will be delivering innovative and flexible solutions for clients' workplace risk programs, presenting recommendations, and driving improvements in their performance.
This is a full-time position, and the role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.
The Role Manage and develop key existing clients Completing premium renewals and policy placement of national workers' programs including preparing renewal information to submit to markets Negotiating renewal premiums with underwriters including policy terms and conditions Producing client renewal reports and other analytical written reports for clients Undertaking premium forecasting, including Claims Experience Discounts and Burner Call ups Preparing client invoices and managing internal debtors Provide technical placement support to internal stakeholders Support junior staff with SME client renewals and other scheme facilities Program management of key consulting work Participation in alternatives schemes assessment and transition Abide by WTW Client Excellence Model Qualifications The Requirements Previous experience in a workers' compensation role, or similar within an insurance environment Tier 1 QualificationStrong Excel and analytical skillsProficient Microsoft Word skills A strong attention to detail Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skillsAn energetic personal drive, be a self-starter, and have a 'can do' attitude A customer centric approach to work An innovative and continuous process improvement ethosProactive time management skills and a proven record of prioritising workloads and meeting deadlinesNote: Employment-based visa sponsorship and/or assistance is not offered for this specific job opportunity.
