Financial/Management Accountant

Our client is a mover and shaker on the Gold Coast. With a successful history and a bright future, this employer is well regarded for their ability to retain and develop staff long term. A newly created position has arisen for an experienced accountant to join this established and vibrant team, located centrally on the Gold Coast.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, key responsibilities include:
Review Bank reconciliations for multiple entitiesReview credit card reconciliationsOversee accounts payable and receivables teamsProcessing intercompany transactionsWeekly cash flow reporting, monthly and yearly financial reportingPreparing adhoc reportsPreparation of monthly / quarterly GST statementsReconcile the General Ledger and include action steps and corrective journals where requiredPrepare and post month end journalsMaintain records associated with the Asset RegisterPrepare cashflow forecastsPrepare end of month reports (P&L, B/S, Cashflow)Analyse actuals against budgetBalance sheet reconciliationsOur ideal candidate will be minimum degree qualified and must have previously worked in a fast paced business with multiple entities. We need a reliable and methodical person, who can work well in a team and is deadline driven. You should have strong Excel skills and some experience with Xero/Reckon is preferred. A stable work history is very important.
This is a fun environment in which to work and the position will be office based 5 days per week.
