About the Role
As a Lifestyle Officer, you'll help residents to find meaning and purpose through activities designed to enhance their sense of connection, fun and relaxation.
Your warm-hearted care will provide experiences that enhance our residents' wellbeing and overall quality of life and truly make a positive impact on their lives.

We are looking to appoint a Full Time employee to expand our Lifestyle team at IRT Peakhurst.
Your work may include:
Helping facilitate a range of engaging onsite activities such as bingo, floor bowls, craft and special events.
Helping to develop and plan a range of social, recreational and cultural activities.
Assisting residents on bus trips and community outings.
Supporting resident participation and offering warm companionship.
Ensuring residents' needs, values, spiritual values and cultural preferences are taken into account.
To Be Successful You Will Have:
A Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or willing to obtain).
Initiative and creative flair.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work as part of a team and prioritise work.
The ability to put a smile on a resident's face and brighten their day.
A big heart – you're empathetic and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible.
Knowledge of the needs of persons living with dementia (desirable).
