About the company:Core Talent are seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join a leading earthmoving company with a strong presence in metro projects across WA.
Committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental sustainability on every job site.
The Role:As an HSEQ Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, environmental protection, and quality of our civil earthmoving projects.
You will be responsible for providing expert advice, monitoring compliance, and driving a culture of continuous improvement across our projects in the Perth metro area and regional sites.
Key Responsibilities: Safety Leadership: Promote a zero-harm culture by overseeing site safety practices and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and environmental legislation and regulations.Training & Support: Deliver safety and HSEQ training to site teams, contractors, and stakeholders to raise awareness and competence.Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to proactively identify hazards and implement corrective actions.Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into workplace incidents and near misses, providing recommendations to prevent recurrence.Auditing: Subcontractor auditing and onboarding.Environmental Sustainability: Ensure compliance with environmental management systems and promote sustainable practices across projects.Quality Assurance: Monitor quality control procedures and ensure the successful implementation of quality assurance processes on-site.About You: You have a background in civil construction or earthmoving, with a deep understanding of HSEQ standards, best practices, and regulations.You hold relevant qualifications (e.g., Cert IV or Diploma in HSEQ, WHS, or Environmental Management).Cert IV Training & Assessing is advantageous.C Class Driving licence.Full Australian Working Rights.You are a hands-on professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with teams at all levels.You are proactive, with a passion for promoting safety and quality on-site.You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Why Join Us?
