12 Month Labour Hire Contract - APS6 Communications and Campaigns Federal Government - Priority of Government Join the Communication Strategies and Campaigns Branch at this Federal Government Department and make a meaningful impact on public health and communicable disease programs.
This exciting 12-month labour hire contract offers the chance to develop and deliver high-profile Australian Government campaigns, engage diverse audiences, and respond to health emergencies with strategic communication.
About the Role Reporting to the Communication Manager, you will: Develop and implement evidence-based communication strategies.
Create and manage content for newsletters, reports, and publications.
Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives for consistent messaging.
Draft, review, and edit communication materials to ensure accuracy and impact.
Provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff.
Address challenges with innovative problem-solving approaches.
Support budget management and reporting requirements.
Key Skills & Experience Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience across multiple channels.
Ability to use market research insights to inform communication strategies and campaigns.
Strategic thinking and analytical skills with a consumer-focused approach.
Experience liaising with external suppliers and managing public relations activities.
Proven project management skills, including managing timelines, budgets, and procurement.
Stakeholder engagement expertise, fostering collaboration at all levels.
Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent professional experience (1-2 years).
