We achieve in 6 months what it takes our competitors 4 years to do.We've raised our $10M Series A led by Australia's largest VC firm, Blackbird Ventures and in the midst of our next raise, with an ambitious global go-to-market strategy starting with the US & UK.The RoleAs a Senior DevOps Engineer at Heidi, you'll be instrumental in building and scaling our cloud infrastructure, focusing on establishing our Azure presence while ensuring robust, secure, and observable systems.You'll work closely with our engineering team to implement and maintain highly reliable infrastructure for our AI-powered healthcare solutions.What you'll do:Design and implement secure Azure infrastructure while working with existing AWS environmentsLead the implementation and management of containerized services using KubernetesEstablish comprehensive observability and monitoring using Datadog for both infrastructure and applicationsDesign and implement robust SRE practices including SLOs, error budgets, and automated remediationLead incident response and post-mortem processes to drive continuous improvementImplement and maintain security best practices and compliance requirements for healthcare systemsManage infrastructure as code using Terraform and other modern DevOps toolsDrive reliability improvements through automated testing and chaos engineering practicesKey Requirements:Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure required, AWS and GCP beneficial)Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestrationDeep experience with observability tools, particularly DatadogProven track record in implementing SRE practicesStrong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation toolsStrong networking and infrastructure security backgroundPreferred Qualifications:Azure certifications (Solutions Architect Expert, DevOps Engineer Expert)Backend development experience with modern programming languagesHealthcare industry experienceExperience with high-availability architecturesUnderstanding of HIPAA or similar healthcare compliance frameworksExperience building cloud infrastructure from ground upWhat we will look for:Problem-solving mindset with a focus on reliability and scalabilityStrong communication skills to work with cross-functional teamsAbility to balance technical requirements with business needsExperience in fast-paced startup environmentsDedication to maintaining high standards in a regulated environmentWhat do we believe in?We create unconventional solutions to difficult problems and we build them fast.
