What You'll Be Doing: CI/CD Mastery: Design, build, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using AWS services like CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline, ensuring smooth and reliable software deployments.
Infrastructure Optimisation: Manage and enhance AWS infrastructure, focusing on high availability and reliability for both Windows and Linux environments.
Automation Excellence: Drive process automation, working closely with development teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues across development, test, and production environments, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum performance.
Security Focus: Maintain and enforce high security standards across all cloud services and internal systems.
Knowledge Sharing: Lead training sessions and workshops to upskill internal teams on DevOps best practices, ensuring alignment with our deployment and operational standards.
Documentation: Continuously document and refine DevOps practices to enhance scalability, security, and efficiency.
Public Holiday Work: Step up for public holiday work when needed.
What You'll Bring to the Table: Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
Demonstrated Experience: Significant hands-on experience in a DevOps or Senior DevOps role, with a strong focus on AWS-based CI/CD workflows and designing and setting up a DevOps infrastructure.
Database Mastery: Extensive practical expertise with MySQL, AWS RDS, MSSQL and MongoDB.
Scripting Skills: Strong scripting abilities for automation tasks, ensuring smooth synchronisation and deployment processes.
Tool Proficiency: Proven hands-on experience with DevOps tools like GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Kubernetes and system administration for both Windows, Linux.
Problem-Solving Expertise: Proven ability to tackle complex challenges under pressure and within tight deadlines.
Lifelong Learner: A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, keeping up with industry trends and best practices.
Technical Expertise: Understanding in PHP, React, Node.js is preferred but not mandatory.
