National Operations Manager / RTO Manager Skills Australia Institute (SAI) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering training to local and international students for over the last six years.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated National Operations Manager to lead and oversee operations, particularly in government-funded programs in WA and interstate.
This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in RTO management, ensuring operational excellence, compliance with State Government funding programs and ASQA regulations, and effective team leadership to drive organisational growth.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with ASQA regulations, the VET Quality Framework, and State Government-funded programs.
Manage and mentor a team of trainers and assessors, providing guidance and fostering professional development.
Support recruitment, performance management, and staff development initiatives.
Coordinate training schedules and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Drive sales initiatives and collaborate with the sales team to expand business opportunities.
Oversee enrolment processes, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth student onboarding.
Represent the organisation at industry events and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Monitor compliance systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
Key Skills and Experience:
Experience in RTO management or a similar leadership role.
Comprehensive knowledge of the vocational education and training (VET) sector.
Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development and system improvements.
Experience designing and reviewing compliance systems within RTOs.
Familiarity with state funding models, including DTWD, Smart and Skilled (NSW), South Australia, and others.
Proficiency in Office 365, SMS & LMS systems (e.g., aXcelerate), and other educational technologies.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education, Training, or Business Management (preferred).
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly desirable).
