Local schools being serviced by local people, developing long and valued relationships you can trust.Our branches located across Australia are focused on providing excellent service along with exceptional quality in our work.We are currently seeking the services of an Operations Manager in Western Australia to assist with a variety of processes. Our office is located in Burswood.Your New RolePlaying a valued part in our operation, the Operations Manager role reports to the Directors and will manage the operations/team to deliver operational efficiency and effectiveness with continuous improvement.Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:Responsible for the general operation of Photo HendriksLead and support a team to achieve operational goals and our industry leading standards, delivering outstanding results and fostering a culture of continuous improvementManage key relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on timeResponsible for inventory control of all office and production suppliesEstablish, maintain and monitor procedures for record-keepingEnsure that results are measured against standards, while making necessary changes along the wayManagement of all Photo Hendriks staff and managers including the hiring, training and performance management of staffResponsible for the management of several key staffWhat do we need from you?Attitude is everything We look for people with a drive and passion for what they do. If you believe you have the following attributes, then this job is for you:Experience in a similar management roleKnowledge of business and management principlesLeadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teamsKnowledge of human resources management practices and proceduresStrong financial acumen with experience in budget management and regular reporting to DirectorsAdvanced computer skills and knowledge of office software packagesAbility to acquire a solid understanding of all the production software and hardware used at Photo HendriksPrevious experience within the school photography industry or similar would be a distinct advantageExcellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, written and verbally with all levels of internal staff, school staff, parents and other stakeholdersA proactive leader with a solution focus and collaborative approach to drive team performance and continuous improvementExcellent organisational and time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work to meet strict deadlinesOversee the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Risk, and Emergency Management principlesWhat we can offer you:A competitive salary package, dependent on qualifications and experienceVery attractive school holiday termsBe a part of a national companyA positive and supportive workplace cultureWe'd love to hear from youIf this role appeals to you and you have the expertise and skills set to match, we encourage you to submit your application.
