As an Operations Manager, you will help lead our team in Osborne Park.
The main responsibility of this role is to assist our General Manager of Operations in all aspects of his role.
This role calls for a 'hands-on' and tenacious leader who is driven to succeed through team engagement and an understanding of principles that underpin excellence in operations.
You will be working with a great team of drivers, installers, and labourers, with well-maintained and organised equipment.
We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.
All Fence U Rent is a leading supplier of temporary fence products in WA.
With our continued innovation of our engineered products, we will continue to grow and cement ourselves as a Tier 1 temporary fence provider.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist and lead operations on a day-to-day basis.Assist with growth and follow it through.Support and lead a team of workers (oversee that all tasks are done correctly and safely).Willingness to get hands-on as required (assisting customers that come into the yard, driving a delivery vehicle, assist with loading/unloading in the yard, etc).Establish and manage relationships with customers and team members.Mentor and train your team.Coordinate and optimise fleet activities - agile and flexible.Comply with laws, regulations, and requirements including OH&S and toolbox.ABOUT YOU Able to mentor and advocate for employee engagement.Experience in transport, logistics, or service industry (common sense with trucks/vehicles a big advantage).Experience in private enterprise advantageous.Ability to problem-solve on the spot.Have drive and hunger to build a team environment and thriving culture.Demonstrated experience in management processes including associated administrative components.Well-developed people skills, with solid time management.KPI focused with the ability to perform under pressure.Provide up-to-date driving records at interview stage (Manual MR truck license required as a minimum).BENEFITS We provide a variety of work options to ensure the job gets done, with competitive remuneration and a range of benefits:
