Our goal is to provide engaging and nutritious dining solutions tailored to support academic achievement at the highest levels. THE POSITION Drive the service culture across our operations and work closely with our Site Management teams to consolidate and grow the Chartwells business.Create an amazing customer experience while running a profitable commercial operation.Work with your teams to create innovative and dynamic consumer experiences.Brilliant leadership is at the epicenter of this role.Typically Monday to Friday with availability to support as needed for major events.Highly focused on team enrichment, engagement, and development.Effectively oversee multiple sites/operations to ensure they perform to the highest standard, including performance within budgets, food service, brand standards, management of safety outcomes, and improved employee capability and client engagement.Challenge the standards and drive a quality, boutique focus across food and beverage services.Provide leadership to the onsite team across retail, boarding, and function catering and hospitality services – exposure to these services highly regardedLead and drive new site mobilizations as required.Build and leverage effective stakeholder relationships to achieve business objectives, including a collective approach to working with other operations managers for common goals.Foster a high-performance culture through continuous improvement and innovation.THE PERSON Previous experience in contract catering at an area manager level for 2+ years is highly desirable.Demonstrable experience in an operational management role with accountability for operations across multiple sites, venues, or retail operations within the hospitality industry.A passion for food and retail services, striving for superior customer service at all times.Strong and effective leadership skills with the ability to support, motivate, coach, effectively manage, and communicate with individuals in a fast-paced and complex environment.Highly developed commercial skills with experience managing complex contracts and/or P&Ls.Experience within the Education sector would be highly desirable but not essential.THE BENEFITS Paid parental leave.Multiple salary packaging options to make your dollar go further.Easy access to 100+ retail discounts.Opportunity to learn new skills and move to different internal roles.Above award wages.A chance to join an ecologically and socially forward operation.This is a fast-paced, high-energy role, so if you are looking for a new challenge within a diverse environment that consistently delivers to the highest quality, then you'll fit right in and we'd like to have you on our team.
