The main responsibility of this role is to assist our General Manager of Operations in all aspects of his role.This role calls for a 'hands-on' and tenacious leader who is driven to succeed through team engagement and an understanding of principles that underpin excellence in operations.You will be working with a great team of drivers, installers, and labourers, with well-maintained and organised equipment.We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.All Fence U Rent is a leading supplier of temporary fence products in WA. With our continued innovation of our engineered products, we will continue to grow and cement ourselves as a Tier 1 temporary fence provider.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssist and lead operations on a day-to-day basis.Assist with growth and follow it through.Support and lead a team of workers (oversee that all tasks are done correctly and safely).Willingness to get hands-on as required (assisting customers that come into the yard, driving a delivery vehicle, assist with loading/unloading in the yard, etc).Establish and manage relationships with customers and team members.Mentor and train your team.Coordinate and optimise fleet activities - agile and flexible.Comply with laws, regulations, and requirements including OH&S and toolbox.ABOUT YOUAble to mentor and advocate for employee engagement.Experience in transport, logistics, or service industry (common sense with trucks/vehicles a big advantage).Experience in private enterprise advantageous.Ability to problem-solve on the spot.Have drive and hunger to build a team environment and thriving culture.Demonstrated experience in management processes including associated administrative components.Well-developed people skills, with solid time management.KPI focused with the ability to perform under pressure.Provide up-to-date driving records at interview stage (Manual MR truck license required as a minimum).BENEFITSWe provide a variety of work options to ensure the job gets done, with competitive remuneration and a range of benefits:The stability of a West Australian family-owned and operated business with over 18 years' experience.Uniform and PPE.Essential services industry – job stability.Full-time, permanent role.Career development and growth opportunities.Introductory and ongoing training.NEXT STEPSInterested applicants should APPLY NOW.This may include a phone interview, face-to-face interview, skills-based assessment, pre-employment medical, and of course, an opportunity to meet the team.ABOUT THE COMPANYWest Australia's largest, family-owned and operated temporary fence company.Join a team of likeminded friendly people that strive to get the best from their job and life.With a dynamic attitude that values our people, their safety, and the environment.
