About About the Company: Our client is a leading Brisbane-based communications platform provider that specialises in integrating multiple communication systems into a unified interface.
Known for its fast-paced growth in the communication technology sector, the company seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead expansion efforts within the private sector, focusing on high-value enterprise clients.
Position Overview: The Business Development Manager will be instrumental in developing and executing sales strategies to drive new business within the private sector, particularly focusing on high-value clients.
Initially operating independently, the BDM will establish and refine sales processes, with the potential to build and lead a high-performance sales team as the company scales.
This role offers substantial commission incentives based on gross revenue, ideal for a motivated and results-driven individual.
Key Responsibilities: Business Development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the private sector, generating leads and establishing a robust sales pipeline.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers across target industries, acting as a trusted partner to understand and meet their needs.
Sales Process Leadership: Drive sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close high-value deals, managing a monthly sales cycle focused on top-tier enterprise clients with revenue potential ranging from $200,000 to over $3 million annually.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including the Sales Associate Rep Program, to develop collateral, support lead generation, and ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
Team Growth and Leadership: As the company grows, establish a sales team and contribute to its ongoing success by mentoring junior team members.
Qualifications and Experience: 3-4 years of successful SaaS sales experience within the private sector (experience with telecom or communication tech solutions is advantageous).
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and to close high-value deals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a solutions-driven approach.
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
Self-motivated and highly competitive, with a strong desire for commission-based rewards.
Leadership potential and interest in developing a high-performance sales team.
