We conduct our business in increasingly complex markets, and our people must continually find new ways to manage risk and provide investment opportunities for our clients to enable them to reach their goals.We judge ourselves on our ability to help clients anticipate and respond to changing market conditions and to create opportunities that merit the trust they place in us.THE ROLEThis is a Vice President level role and an opportunity to join the Client Solutions Group, which is responsible for growing our business and managing our relationships with institutional and third-party wealth clients in Australia and New Zealand.We are seeking a highly driven institutional client coverage professional to work across our public markets business with a predominant focus on public equity and multi-asset solutions.
This person will help drive commercial impact for our franchise in partnership with our product and sales teams around the world.We require an organized and efficient person with exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail, who can work both autonomously and within a team environment, to develop long-term relationships with our clients to understand their objectives and provide them with relevant solutions.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESUncover new business opportunities for our franchise through the distribution of our public market capabilities to key client accounts, with a focus on our public equity and multi-asset solutions.Manage key client accounts and provide exceptional client service for a broad range of mandates across various asset classes including fixed income, public equities, and multi-asset investments.Coordinate local and global client pitches, product presentations, and requests for proposals (RFPs) to develop a pipeline of new business opportunities.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholder groups including Portfolio Managers, Product Managers, Legal, Technology, Operations, and Compliance, with a common goal of providing the best possible experience for our clients.Contribute toward the strategic development and execution of the Australia / New Zealand Client Business plan, including assisting with competitor analysis and market research.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE5 - 10 years' experience in distribution/investor relations, asset management, or investment consulting with a focus on public equities.Deep understanding of the asset management business and public equity markets specifically.Broad knowledge of the Australian asset management landscape.A real interest in the financial markets and wealth creation.Unwavering ethical standards.Strong work ethic, highly self-motivated, and entrepreneurial.Ability to build trust and confidence of colleagues and clients through working in a collaborative manner.Outstanding team player with exceptional interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.Exceptional attention to detail, and ability to drive tasks to completion in a highly organized manner.Problem solver who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHSAt Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital, and ideas to help our clients, shareholders, and the communities we serve to grow.
