That's what makes us Roche.Neuroscience focused Medical Affairs roleSydney-based Medical roleAgile and flexible work environmentAs a Medical Enabler (Medical Manager), you will aim to jointly cultivate an environment that enables a self-managed team, with strong innovative, agile and enterprise mindset, customer centricity and a culture of discovery, experimentation and learning.
You will:Provide strategic input and operational support from late stage development / near launch through growth to end of lifecycle of therapies in the Disease Area (DA)Seek out opportunities to apply your scientific experiences, skills and capabilities towards valuable work in service of patientsAct as a scientific expert of our medicines and diagnostic solutions throughout their product life cyclesWork in cross-border collaborations and will be a member of the Network capabilitiesWhat will you be working on:You will be responsible for providing comprehensive expertise of Medical Affairs theories, techniques and technologies and fostering scientific collaborations and value-based partnerships with therapeutic area experts and other healthcare stakeholders across different healthcare systems.
You will:Understand important data gaps, design and support data generation plans to address them including phase IV studies, registries etc.Contribute Medical Affairs expertise to patient support and/or compassionate use programs across the Disease Area portfolio as appropriateBuild high value-added continuing medical educational programs in the Disease Area for external stakeholdersAdvise on strategic planning and prioritization of opportunities, taking into account patients' needs, resource requirements and market access considerationsBuild and contribute the medical affairs capabilities to cross-functional, cross-cultural, self-managed teams that apply agile methodologiesTranslate insights into strategic and actionable recommendations for varied stakeholder groups to impact the way we work and ensure we help deliver positive, sustainable change in healthcareProvide strategic medical review and approval for materials and communications.Who you are:You are a qualified Medical Affairs professional who has:A degree in Life Sciences/biology/immunology/neuroscience or equivalent.
Having an MD/PhD degree is a plus.Comprehensive knowledge of the drug development process and Australian medical landscapeStrong relevant experience within the Medical Affairs fields as Medical Adviser or Medical ManagerDeep understanding of the Neuroscience therapeutic landscape and well-established and trusted relationships with Australian Neurology KOLs would be advantageousWith your expertise in data comprehension, critical appraisal, synthesis interpretation and delivery of data/information skills, you are able to co-create solutions to address customer needs and transform clinical practice.With your entrepreneurial and growth mindset, you can identify opportunities to experiment, take risks, disrupt the status quo and thrive working in an empowered, dynamic and agile working environment.
