An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a leading financial services firm specialising in managing alternative assets, lending, corporate advisory, and equities.
This role is based in the heart of Sydney CBD and offers a competitive salary package of $160,000 + Super.

What you'll do: As a Finance Manager, you will play an integral role within the financial control function of the Lending and Technology division.
Your excellent IFRS technical knowledge will be crucial in meeting all internal and external financial reporting requirements.
You will partner with key stakeholders to provide front-line finance support on all transactions, offering technical accounting advice to optimise operations.
Your commitment to continual improvement will drive enhancements to finance processes that benefit both Lending and Technology businesses.
You will also have the opportunity to nurture junior team members, fostering their professional development.
You will be responsible for ensuring the division meets all internal and external financial reporting requirements.Provide front line finance support on all new and existing transactions.Play a key role in supporting the Group Finance team in year-end and half-year ASX Group financial reporting and audit processes.Deliver continual improvements to finance processes that benefit both Lending and Technology businesses.Develop junior team members of the Lending and Technology financial control team.Ensure timely and accurate completion of the finance team balance sheet reconciliation process.Research and prepare the division's judgemental and technical accounting papers. What you bring: As our ideal candidate for the Finance Manager position, you bring along excellent IFRS technical knowledge developed at a big 4 or equivalent environment.
Your proven technical proficiency enables you to understand complex structures and transactions.
You have ASIC and APRA reporting experience from a similar ASX-listed environment or from an advisory capacity in professional services.
Being CA or CPA qualified is essential for this role.
Your ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, manage competing deliverable makes you stand out.
