Proclinical are proud to be partnered with our client, an Australian pharmaceutical manufacturing business of critical medicines for the global market.
We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join their team in the position of Maintenance Technician.
About the Role The position of Maintenance Technician is an essential part of the team that carries out day to day repairs, and maintenance across the site's services, utilities, plant and equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Major functions of the position include;
Performing preventative maintenance tasks as per scheduleAttending to breakdown and troubleshooting faultsReporting breakdown root causes and concerns with managementDocumenting work undertaken on CMMSWorking to GMP compliance change control standardsCoordinating with external service providers for maintenance and repairsWhile the position is a Monday to Friday role, there may be some weekend work should there be maintenance issues that need to be attended to during those times.Skills and Experience To be considered for this position you will need to possess the following;
Technical proficiency and Trade qualification in equipment maintenance3 plus years of experience within a pharmaceutical or similar regulated environment (e.g., veterinary, medical device or large scale food manufacturing) with good knowledge of cGMP or similar system requirements.Knowledge and experience with systems and services such as:Purified water systemsBoilersTrade waste systemsFilling and packaging equipmentKnowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Competence with computerised control systems used for equipment operation and facility monitoringGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholdersBenefits and Perks Competitive salary including annual discretionary bonusNovated lease optionsOnsite yoga sessionsEmployee awards programHow to Apply If you are interested and would like to apply for the position, please click the apply button and upload an up to date resume and optional coversheet highlighting your experience per the requirements of the role.
