They are looking for a passionate, empathetic and dedicated Client Service Officer to join their team in Broken Hill ASAP on a contract basis until 31 March 2025.
The Job...
Reporting through to a Team Leader, you will be accountable for: Managing inbound and outbound calls.
Engaging with vulnerable customers via phone, email and written correspondence, addressing financial queries and making decisions as required.
Proactively reach out to clients and discuss both immediate and future financial needs.
Developing and updating budgets based on client needs.
Liaise with other government agencies to maximise benefits, referring clients to other services as needed.
Writing submissions and reports for complex matters where required.
You... To be successful for this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas and possess the below personal qualities: Minimum 2 years experience working in a Customer Service role or Case Management position.
Experience dealing with vulnerable clients is advantageous.
Experience working within the Not-for-Profit or Government sectors is ideal.
Strong multitasking skills to confidently work across multiple systems and databases.
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organisation skills and ability to stay focused in a high-volume environment.
