Job DescriptionWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and creative Marketing Content Creator to join our team at Minor Hotels.
This newly created position will spearhead our content strategy, creation, and distribution efforts to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
As a key member of our marketing team, this role will be crucial in developing high-quality, compelling content that aligns with our brand voice and marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities Include: Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, encompassing the annual marketing campaign calendar, social media storytelling, website development, brand initiatives, and property-specific requests.Produce high-quality, engaging content across various formats, including imagery, photography, campaign design, social media, video content, and infographics.Identify target audiences and customise content strategies to effectively address their needs and preferences.Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment of content initiatives with broader marketing campaigns and projects.Manage the content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of content that supports marketing and business objectives.Establish workflows and processes for content creation, review, and approval to ensure timely delivery.Ensure all content maintains consistency in style, quality, and tone of voice while being optimised for SEO and user experience.Coordinate and manage on-property shoots to capture relevant content.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in content marketing, with a demonstrated history of creating and distributing successful content across various platforms.Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for engaging audiences.Strong understanding of SEO, social media dynamics, and effective content distribution strategies to maximise reach and engagement.Proficient in utilizing content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools to streamline content workflows.Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret data, draw insights, and make informed, data-driven decisions to enhance content effectiveness.Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, combined with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and proactively.Highly developed organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.Proven ability to manage projects from initial briefing through to successful completion, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.Proficiency in design platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, or Figma, enabling the creation of visually compelling content.Additional InformationJoin our positive and vibrant team and be rewarded with these team benefits: Competitive salary, which is negotiable based on experience50% discounts on accommodation across all Minor Hotel brands in Australia and New ZealandAccess to Minor Hotels ANZ paid parental leave benefits20% team member's friend and family discount on accommodation across all Minor Hotel brands in Australia and New ZealandAdditional paid leave including Birthday and Study leave.Educational Financial support may be available to those who undertake development relevant to the company's business requirements.Discount savings and cash back from over 400 popular retailers in Australia and New ZealandEntertainment and experience discounts (Opera Australia; Australia Zoo; BRG Brands- Experience oz, Adrenaline and RedBalloon)Discount on Furniture50% off The Coffee Club VIP membership and discount on Minor Hotels F&B outlets across the globeWellbeing programs with Uprise (EAP)Wellness Programs at Elysia Wellness retreat Accommodation, all F&B, all Wellness Activities, Spa Treatments (depends on length of program to how many) and Wellness one on one consultsOur people drive the success of our business, so we will invest in your skills to allow you to grow and progress through your career.
